I hate that people are saying there isn't character development with Hyesung! Some people are not born with maternal instincts, in fact some people don't even like children! It's going to take time for a bond to form, and that can only happen if Hyesung opens himself up to that possibility. He's kept himself closed off because that's how he's always lived his life. I really think the author should go to a Season 3 so they could slowly develop more and it would be a little more organic but I understand that sometimes these have to be rushed. Nonetheless I think the development so far was lovely and the line that Dojin says Byul recognizes mommy I think hit Hyesung like it did me. Yes Hyseung is selfish and probably doesn't like children or the idea of being a parent but I think given time he will fall in love with Byul and that mindset can change.
