I absolutely agree with you. Honestly, at this point it feels like reading smut with some plot slapped on so it won't classify as porn.
Here's hoping Ian will have a happy ending, really, he's the only character I care about.
The whole point is that he's using sex to convince himself that he's "happy", not that it's actually making him happy. There's a reason he keeps having flashbacks and telling himself that he's not like his mother when they're banging: he's trying to convince himself. It's not really what most mentally healthy people think of while having sex lol.
In the beginning Noah was an interesting character. He has a past, features and interesting powers, that is, everything to result in a character with complex plot and personality as well as reasoning well developed, but with the course of history, I realized that the author did not use well and ended up reproducing Noah in a very superficial way. Now he looks more like a concubine who only thinks about sex, I'm really disappointed. The development of the secondary couple is better than the main couple.
