that's exactly my question. I mean is it yaoi because we get gratuitous sex for us readers, or will this actually develop into a serious romance? I would never believe a man mourning his deceased lover would fall in love with a demon literally trying to kill him.But yeah yaoi logic makes mostly zero sense so who am I to judge.
Also, It is Yaoi because of how sexual it is. A BL comic can be Yaoi but a Yaoi comic isn't necessarily always BL. For example, Killing Stalking, Warehouse , Mob x Character rape doujinshis, Shotacon mangas etc are Yaoi but they aren't necessarily BL (there isn't any love between main characters) Unless the demon warms up to the cop and starts valuing him more, there isn't going to be any BL.. .
