It takes dedication to give time and effort on someone without getting together in the end. He knows hes much more needed as a trusty friend than lover so he stayed that way maybe.
But yeah its completely his fault the 2nd time around. His passiveness didnt work the first time why in the heck did he think itll work a second time? Welp. Hes hurt enough so i dont wanna dig it in.. i adore utou but he falls for the wrong people each time..
i beg to differ lol it doesnt matter who he falls in love with, it's his choice. but it's the matter of how far would he go in doing the right thing for the one he loves.... which is his prime weakness :'D
At first i was cheerily reading about this beta wanting to find his love but the more i read it i knew... this was this mangakas style. Sorta like how you just know when its ogawa chise.
She loves giving you hope and shredding it apart. I hated the omega the moment i saw him, there were times i let go like "ill tolerate you for a bit just cuz utou looks happy".
Then this last chapters. How dumb. I knew this was the route its going to take the moment i saw that goodie alpha. Will they try to break the bond like in that other manga? But isnt fucking a bonded omega quite painful?
I dont think utou would have the heart to do that regardless of how much he loved that omega. I dont really wanna blame the omega for being insecure and for breaking my reluctant OTP and hopes for Utous chance to be happy after a failed first love. But i wanna blame his actions. Im enraged by it. I would love to strangle him and have done so in my mind many times since chap 1.
I hope Utou finds a new love. And that omega to despite being regretful for being impulsive. Will try to get along with the alpha he chose.
I dont like reading betas always ending up alone and being the best wingman in the world for their omega or alpha best friends. That trope should die. Betas need love too.
