I think so too! maybe she gets so "physically" tense because of what happened before. damn Murakami writes the weirdest stuff lol. I only read a few of his works

Anyway I love reading Murakami you should try Colourless Tsukuru Tazaki is one of my favourite ones despite it being more mellow.
