being alpha /omega is separate from (first) gender issues tho. so it isn't that much of a problem in their universe.
also, its just for comic relief, if he and the alpha seriously disliked each other, im sure their moms won't be that much giggly planning their marriage. in a way, they are teasing their sons whom they feel had an attraction to each other.
Seconded. I think this ABO verse is more of a romcom than the usual serious, heavy, problem induced ABO verses. While I do get the point of consenting, this change of pace to lightheartedness is a refreshing change.
It concerns me that they didn't wait for mc's answer and just went ahead and decided for him. Do you really think that he's at the point in his life where he can decide who wants to be with for the rest of his life? Yes, mc likes the alpha, but they are really taking this...too lightly. They don't even ask if he's oaky with guys..jumping ahead much.
