sometimes it's truly gross that for the sake of a plot, authors' put characters' in scenarios no rational thinking person would ever allow themselves to be in. 20 years in love with your best friend and being his side fuck everytime when he's essentially bored of screwing his current chick, but then he always returns to her anyway?
