And the thing is Toudou was like this literally up until Kirishima “convinced” Toudou to date him. Toudou didn’t do anything to change his ways in the intermediate time lest we forget, he still was cruising even during that time so his behavior isn’t a secret. To say Toudou changed isn’t true, it’s simply Kirishima was the exception to his behavior. It’s disingenous to claim Toudou is some chivalrous thoughtful man in general. If he’s a decent person because of Kirishima loving him just say that and be honest the rest of the setup was just pointless already known information.
For me, Toudou is a flawed person, but in a bad way. Not bad "per se" but he did have a shitty behaviour until not that long ago. Kirishima is a flawed person, but in the opposite way. While Toudou has always been shallow, Kirishima is serious and honest. And in my opinion, he is fighting way harder than Toudou for their relationship when he was supposedly the one that should've been "chased" (being new to same sex relationships and all). That shows me that Kirishima is not only stronger (psychologically speaking) but also more mature. He is honest about what he wants, and even if he is afraid sometimes he is not "afraid of their relationship" at all.

That ends up being the case for most plots I read that center on a playboy seme and “innocent” uke. I read for the uke’s characterization and not the seme’s because the seme tend to be very 1D and there’s not much development in their character. They’re apparent growth is the result of “love” but it’s never a love they seek but one practically handed to them, completely reinforcing their continued shallowness
So we find out that Toudou behavior was because he was a shallow playboy you used people and tossed them aside for sport. Well i reiterate my point that if Kirishima still wants you the gay converting sex must be bomb. I’m completely over someone like Toudou acting sorry for himself. He’s literally only a decent person to Kirishima and anyone associated to Kirishima i.e. lil Kirishima (bro) otherwise he’s honestly straight up a dick and pretends to be otherwise.
