I see what you mean, they jumped to married life talk super fast.
Saying that I have to say I kinda also relate to them. I've never had a relationship and I'm on the closer side to 30 so I find myself thinking about how it'd be nice to have someone for a companion even if there's no passionate love happening or even sex. It just gets lonely not having someone to come home to.
You two are really emotionally damaged if you think like that.
What do you expect? drama? angst? you want them both being so passionate for each other that they need to explode and fight or what?
They truly love each others.
Just because they are adults that knows what they want and can comunicate it peacefully to each other doesn't mean they aren't passionate about the other.
Not really? I understand this is all fiction so even if there was more drama/angst then I would just take it as that being part of the story. I just wanted to experience more development. Sure we can tell they become fond of each other but it just felt like a huge jump from A to B and it's mostly because this is manga and there's a limit to how many words can be used to express thoughts/feelings.
What I was getting at was that you don't need to "fall in love" to have a relationship. In my opinion relationships can develop through mutual respect and trust and that can lead to affection and love. Just like that lady was saying that she had a successful marriage that started as an arranged marriage.
My initial comment was just to give my perspective on some of the themes of the story and yeah you might think I'm just over thinking it when it's just a fictional story but that's just what I took from it. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I agree. u_u Would love a life partner even if it wasn't that way. Friend for life in marriage and stuff. Kinda feel there needs to be another half.

Also, these guys seem like they would agree to marry anybody just to be married... But I suppose that neediness will make for a secure relationship. :)
