Hang in there sweetie! It's bound to get better. I know how it feels to be put down by those around you, and it is hard especially when parents are part of those kinds of people; but you are beautiful for who you are! Don't let others make you feel inferior for whatever reason! I'm rooting for you!!! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

He reminded me constantly that women are weak. In all my efforts to impress him as a child, he reminded me that it was such a shame that I was born a woman. He loved any family friends' children who were boys and seemed to be envious of those parents. When I had severe period pains and couldn't do something, he called it excuses to be lazy. Years down the line and here I am with very low self esteem, unable to socialize and unable to keep a relationship because I feel like I'm constantly undervalued because I am a woman. It's really hard to get over issues implanted by your parents over years and i don't even know where to start without feeling like killing myself.
