Thank you for saying what needs to be said so we can all move on and enjoy this rather than over analyzing let’s leave that to the shounen-freaks shall we? J/k but seriously I think most fujoshis (myself included) and probably some fudanshis (I’m being gender specific on this one) are perfectionists we are not satisfied unless there’s the right amount of angst, Seme ass-holeness, uke bullshitting and denial, and smex lol ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Finally someone speaks this up You are truly correct. People need to know that there are these things called defense mechanisms and irrational beliefs effecting the human's mind, behaviors, and feelings. However knowing the existance of it does not mean that we are excusing nor accepting the "bad outcomes" caused by it. It is just there for helping us to understand why or how people think, behave, and feel in certain ways. So I believe it is okay to say, "Oh so that's why Jiwon's like that" or even "I feel bad for Jiwon" etc. That's only natural for human with a heart and mind to sympatize. But surely we shall not be blinded by it and simply accept/excuse all the wrong doings. So yea, I think the fight between Jiwon's haters and Jiwon's supporters is quite silly because both sides are right though no side can really win the fight completely.

I think you lot are missing the point of those topics, when people say they "feel sorry for him" or "that's why he is like that" they aren't excusing his behavior, they're just saying "oh, that's why". Because they know the reason behind his behavior, it's easier for people to give a shit about Jiwon now that he's realizing he has feelings for DG. Previously he was just an asshole who was growing feelings for the guy he treated like shit, now we know he wasn't an asshole TO BE an asshole, it's a defense mechanism. He's starting to face all that bullshit now and his past is sad, so now people can look forward to the FUTURE. Again, no one is excusing his behavior.
