So Sou( ??... was that his name) (black-haired dude) originally liked Anna, but Anna has always liked Hinata. Anna confessed to Hinata, but got turned down basically. We find out that Hinata knew of Sou's feelings and was afraid that he would hate him if Hinata got together with Anna, therefore avoiding saying he actually likes Anna. Anna and Sou convinces him it's okay basically and becomes relatively ok again (Sou wanted a break from her since he wanted to silence his feelings), and Hinata and Anna begin to go out?? though this was super anti-climatic lmao, and he never officially asked her out or anything
Now Ayane, who used to go out with Sou in middle school, wants him back, and Anna believes they're in a relationship now after having seen them "on a date" at the fireworks festival.

ok, I have re-read some stuff and my memory are now refreshed, lol.
Is it just me or am I the only one not doubting her feelings, but Hinata's? I don't know, it just seemed all weird. I never got the feeling that *he* liked her, only that she's the one head over heels. Hinata never seems bothered or happy with something regarding her and their relationship. Just seems odd and very unsatisfying, though I remember rooting for their relationship when I originally read this.
