Geez. I know. Point is it is a super used conflict in yaoi whereas irl it isn't.
No use in saying this bc it has been like this for ages and will probably continue to, but I wish authors were less crazy about fixed positions. It's not realist and it is such and old, used plot driver ╮(￣▽￣)╭
