I have a question: characters keep hinting that if what Dr. Kang said and the new ML believe is true then there is no hope for humanity, but what's the difference if it was Jupiter falling into Earth's orbit or that big GRB wave coming their way? I just... don't understand why the author would choose the former over the other if they both essentially signify there being no hope for humanity? Is there something that has yet to be revealed does anyone know?
