It has been years when i was started skip beat. If I remember true I was going to middle school and this year I am graduating from highscholl:-) and unfortunately I am very disappointed... it was my favourite manga... when I opened the pages I was so happy .. but now I am reading to read... last 5 chapter i didnt even read them, just looked the pictures... didn't we saw Ran and her bed scene when they are pretend like siblings? After that scene (years ago) I thought finally they will be more close and manga will finish... normally I don't want to finish manga... but this time I really want to "real" things and finish properly. Mangaka ruin Dan's an Kyoto's reputation which is in my mind...

Although I’m not a fan of how short the chapters have been, I whole heartedly enjoy this story. It’s progressing slowly, but that’s because we get one chapter a month. It’s rare to find a manga with so much detail. Theres a lot to be solved, and I rather it be solved properly rather than a rushed manner just so that Kyoko and Ren get that “happily ever after.” Because that’s not what this story is about. It’s about the progression as PEOPLE. I DEFINITELY WILL LOVE to see how it all ends, but not just for the two to get together. There’s a lot more to this story. Time hasn’t passed in the story the way it has irl. The author is providing a very very detailed world that covers self hatred, self love, acceptance, endurance, perseverance and so much more. We don’t know exactly what happed in Ren’s past, Kyoko still doesn’t know that Kuon = Ren (which is fair because neither one is ready for that.) And neither one has openly confessed their feelings. It’s fascinating how the Japanese readers gobble this story up the way it is -otherwise it would have been discontinued or the mangaka would have been pressured to hasten things by the publishers, which clearly has not happened. Whereas the non Japanese crowd is upset with the current pace. Think of how much dialogue we get in one manga chapter, it’s hardly anything.

I have been reading this manga more than 4 years but now it started to feel everything is same . Kyoto only improve yourself about her roles (but still her roles down at effect me like her first role) and nothing change about their relationship. Nearly 2 years ago mangaka gave us a a hope to develop their relationship but we can see them same...this manga not like Naruto, one piece or other big stories. They have long stories, details and lots of character.but in this manga It is nearly all charachters and we see so less action in chapter. I really getting tired of Kyoko's weird ideas. It we so good story at first but after that long time it feels same ,casual an I don't see any unsuspecting thing like as before. I think mangaka trying to fresh manga again with new roles, new characters but it is not successful. They are so big filler. I want to see real development not in all chapter Kyoko's mind. I saw some translate give up or give a break to translate this manga because people lost their interest. In 4 years it has is many new stories. So many people didn't recommend skip beat now. But before it was so popular.to be honest I was big fan of this art,but know I feel like it change and I am only read to be read.

It’s fine if you think that. But I certainly see it in a different light. If you say that you’ve been reading this for the past 4 years, then of course everything feels the same NOW. If you started reading this 4~5 years ago, then the pace is obviously going to feel slow now because when you started reading there was already a fair amount of chapters released to binge read. Skip beat revolves around Kyoko’s personal growth, there won’t be any impact if large developements are made constantly. Things build up to reach that. You can say that people get bored, but as I said -that’s foreigners. I literally said the same thing. I don’t see what point you’re trying to prove by telling me the translators+non japanese readers are tired of it, when I practically pointed that out myself? No one is forcing you to read it. I’m just saying if it was a TRULY bad story right now, then the mangaka wouldn’t be able to even keep at the pace she’s going. You don’t get published just because you want to be. Fan reaction sets the pace and lets the publishers know whether pr not to advise the mangaka to speed up, slow down, or even just kick them out of the magazine. It’s a pace that the home market -the intended main audiance, is perfectly fine with. So it probably won’t be changing anytime soon is what I’m telling you.

Yeah still mangaka has a good amount of fan but it is decreasing fast.you can not even see this manga in popular or recommend manga list. It is getting bad. You also said after 4 years of course it feels old and slow but it is not completely true. For example look at Tokyo ghoul, naruto, one piece after more years they are still alive like old days. Because fans feels energy. You can say they are shounen manga so they are easy to find action but mangaka must think about it if mangaka want to long manga. Look at dengeki daisy; it has mystery although shouju. It was long but also good. I feel like skip beat turn to "money beat" ... anyway let's finish here and look at the en of manga ... (If we can be alive)(and sorry if I did mistakes I am not native speaker)

This: Kyoto only improve yourself about her roles (but still her roles down at effect me like her first role) and nothing change about their relationship; proves you don't understand the story. Plenty in their relationship has changed. Don't blame the author for something you don't understand. If the author didn't develop the story this way it would be as flawed as readers like you falsely claim it is now. Also, they were acting as siblings in the Heel Siblings arc, so why would that hint at a romance occurring between them by this point? If that was what was supposed to have happened it would diminish both of their acting skills. So you want romance at the expense of all other development as I thought.

For me, it was already 9 years. I binge reading the first 150 chapter then wait patiently every single month. I use to anticipate the update but the recent years the pace going slower and the page became shorter. at first I don't want to admit it but now I agree with a lot of reader that the author milking the story. The pace would be alright if this is some weekly update, but for monthly update, it's kinda. You know, back then just reading one chapter was satisfying enough for me because the mangaka put a lot of story in one chapter but after chapter 200, I don't know, I don't feel satisfied anymore. It's like one of those potato chips, the pack was still the same but the amount of the chips inside getting less and less every time.

I didn't understand anything ? lots of readers gave up yo reading because if it getting bored. I was so close with translation group in my own language and we was messaging each ither but after 200 chapters even translator group gave up to give manga regularly. So many fan left . I found only myself inside the comments . I really try yo support translator group as a regular follower but after this slow improvement I also gave up. I am reading manga more than 4 years and i am a translator and I think I can understand properly after seeing results. This is the reality: lots of fan gave up, it is definitely not popular as before, it is getting longer and boring, in so many people's hopes getting bad and I don't hear someone to recommend manga these days. If mangaka don't express own feeling inside the manga of course we can't see feelings. If so many people think like this we should search the problem not inside the fallowers , inside the mangaka's feelongs.

I read Dengeki daisy more than 3 years ago I think. Yeah first chapters was really boring I agree with but after when they add mystery it was getting better. I only remember that much. And about 3 big series. Nope... still they are so popular and because of Boruto's bad plot naruto became more popular I think:-)

And If I say something rude sorry, and did we talked other comment? I felt like I know your name
