You know what I appreciate the most about this? It's that the mangaka matched her drawing style to the styles of "Old Japanese" illustrations. The old shinto look. It adds so much humor to the comic and it really ties the whole story together with the shinto theme.
And I love how manly or boyish the 'uke' is! The manly or boyish air to the story this whole time -- and how it wasn't lost even after the resolution -- makes this comic so so SO charming and fun to read! A true romantic comedy!
Hell, this kind of story will appeal to those who read shounen and/or seinen I think. Unless they really really can't deal with the BL aspect of the manga.
