no, that was the vampire's daughter. the "father" is because she's talking to him.
bruh i think this might end in a sad way bc i reread the story and in the first chapter there was a tomb that said "kobayashi family tomb" which is the last name of akihito and also kazushige is holding a modern phone but the actual story takes place in 1968
