I haven't read any other works by this mangaka, so I can't compare it to the others; but, I think it's safe to say that this is a pretty bland manga. You are definitely not missing out on a great story here.

If you don't mind a recommendation, you should read Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu. This mangaka writes incredible stories and that one is by far her best, IMO. After you've read her other works, you can see the subtleties in this one better. Although, I would agree that this isn't one of her best works, it is still really interesting to me.

I was thinking about reading this, but getting through the first chapter seemed like such a headache and then I noticed there was seven, and I feel really tired already. And the comments don't seem to be very good either so, is this manga really worth it? I normally like sensei's works, but the first chapter just seems so clunky in setting up the love triangle...
