but that's the thing, it's up to interpretation to a fault if not drawn, even in shounen ai there are clear ways to show the characters definitive fucked, as in did go all the way, and while i'm too lazy to reread, i think none of them have been used so far

so while i think this will never include any real yaoi (why start now), i meant that more clear implications of them doing the nasty probably will only happen once merry is more mature.. i mean a guy as dumb as he is in the beginning and as much as he depends on sohoo can not really give consent imo and maybe the artist is aware of that (but maybe i'm just used to more clear shounen ai then them only kissing and that's it lol)

true, merry doesn't act like an adult and sometimes even is very childish but i think its because of his naive nature that he acts like that and it's a part of his personality. I think he wouldn't change even that much at the end of the story, he will still stay naive, kind hearted and a bit silly and oblivious to some stuff. Don't know really if the author wants to draw them more intimate or not but me as a reader likes to associate sex to an end of the story for some couples like them finally reaching 100% of relationship status. But its just me and my expectations which only rarely comes true cuz life is much more difficult :D
