I think this is because the "bad guy" in this story is clearly the abusive ex-boyfriend.
The black haired guy is doing the wrong thing by the stuff he does, but he does it just to make the main guy accept that the ex is a bastard. On top of that, the victim doesn't really feel like struggling or running away from the black haired guy. I think deep inside of him, he wants to let go of that ex.

It doesn't matter if the blonde haired guy doesn't feel like struggling or running away from the black haired guy, though.
