I hate it when people are expected to forgive/not forgive (after all, both of those are two sides of the same coin) others. Anything else would just be victim blaming. Rape and half assing an omiai are not even in the same galaxy in terms of mistakes. Rape is horrible but what makes it even more horrible is not how unforgivable it is (as per my first comment on the subject, marking something as totally inexcusable/unforgivable forces the victim to either agree or have the validity of their rape questioned) but how much rape culture still plays such a large role in the stigma surrounding it in both real life and fiction. So much so that it's amazing that the majority, if not all, readers still have not caught on to the links between the two.

I really liked it :) I found there was a good balance in the drama haha. First volume about getting together, second having Rei and Jin equally anxious for each other with some good twists and the third, although I think Rei was half assed with the whole omiai thing and Jin super patient, there was also a bit of drama caused by Jin (the rape), so once again the mistakes were kinda equal haha this makes it satisfying for me bc I hate it when things are forgiven too easily. Here they both make mistakes so when they make up it is sweeter :)
Rape wouldn't be excusable irl tho, oc.
