You know how creepy or uncanny it is to see someone who seemed so invincible and strong be so vulnerable and "weak"? Sometimes, you forget that Sangwoo was (or is it still "is"?) a serial killer and all you see is a vulnerable man getting weaker. You momentarily forget his crimes and all you want is for his suffering to end or prevent them because it is very hard to see how a strong, "invincible" man crumble and shake because of his own mind. You can't say "he deserves this" but would instead rather see his old invincible self back again.
Or maybe that's just me, who's still feels uncomfortable at witnessing the deterioration of humans in general. The physical and mental deterioration that occur when a person gets sick and gets worse, and that's brought upon people as they age.
