He's making those "sweet and romantic" gestures because he's following a well-worn path of manipulation that gets the young, lonely, and inexperienced to fall for him. He's a bad man, folks.
The story has been told in a way that it's 50/50. Seunghee COULD be just another victim, if you believe the president or he could be the blond's 1st special person if you believe literally anything we've seen. The blond has internal dialogue about how he's not going to let Seunghee end up like him, he refuses Seunghee a few times to tell him he should hang out with friends and Seunghee has made it pretty clear he's okay with sex. There is blatant evidence directly contradictory to what you're saying. Stop being so pushy in your opinion.
