I think that’s kind of one of the points of omegaverse, to flip gender roles on their heads and show what a classist society such as this one would look like. In the words of... someone, I don’t know who, this is from like early last summer: “The reason I love reading Omegaverse is that it takes the very real problems of sexism and classism and ramps them up to 11, 000. Everything is much, much worse in Omegaverse. It's a deconstruction of how we treat women, body autonomy, social value, and human sexuality. Also, there's usually porn.”
I find the whole "omegaverse" concept to be highly problematic. 1st off, why is there never an alpha who isn't completely douchey? 2nd, the whole subservience hierarchy seems rather ludicrous. It seems to me that its original intent was to create a universe that enables male-male couples to reproduce, because for some reason, many asian cultures seem to have ill regards towards "fruitless relationships" which plays in part to homophobia and misogyny.
