I normally hate flashback stories because I think it gets in the way of the momentum of a reader in the present moment, but the flashback story here was actually quite necessary and fucking important.
Sangwoo really loved his mom until she raped him, I think Sangwoo started hating women after that.
In the last few panels of chapter 60, I actually felt bad for Bum when Sangwoo said he wished he never met him. Because I think Bum will really try to go away if Sangwoo decides to let him go. But I also think Sangwoo will realize Bum wasn't trying to kill him IF he actually sees Bum's gift for him (I wonder what it is).
They're both fucked up, but really suit each other well. Bum grew up raped by his uncle and that senior in the military and despised by his peers, and Sangwoo was pined over by girls and everyone liked him, but he also had a really horrible past with conflicting feelings over his mom.
I just hope Sangwoo doesn't die a horrible death like what his mom said.
