What is beta?

I think of it as being more of "normal" as in the betas are like us and the Alphas and omegas are like evolved humans?? Something like that.....

I don't think you understood what I was saying. If regular Male and regular female are also two of the genders then what is beta? It listed 5 genders Alpha, Beta, Omega, Male and female. So if regular men and women are also counted then What Is Beta?

I was thinking that as well. Maybe they are the same as men and women but they have something in them that lets them mate with omegas and alphas? Hopefully its gets explained later on.

I think you misunderstood due to the translation. It was actually stated that there are 6 genders. They mean that there male and female betas, male and female alphas, then male and female omegas...so 6 genders in total.

I think you might not be right either, it did say 6 but it said Alpha, Beta, Omega, Male and Female. Which is not the same as what you said.

Each mangaka plays with the concept. Some have it that 2 Alpha couples can have a baby, or 2 omegas. I one the omega got claimed by an alpha and since he had sex right after with the beta he loved, he ended up pregnant by the beta. They just have fun with it

Yes but that doesn't answer the question of what is beta in THIS manga though. I understand that the authors play with the concept but I want to know the rules for this one.
