Me too. I was sure, that Ein really loves Diesel since chapter 16, when Minsuk was watching how Ein was sad, when sunset coming and Diesel turned into wolf. On the beginning Diesel seems to me more attached to Ein, than loves him. Little like dog is attached to his owner. Its easy to understand after so many bad experiences in Diesel life. After torturing and was raping for some period, he totally fall in love in person who used and betrayed him. Diesel knew about this, but he still staying with him, like dog who can t leave his owner no meter what. In chapter 20 after this all experiences Ein told to Diesel, that he can t trust people(including himself) for his own sake, cause they betray him. Diesel was just wondering, that he s able to love, not only follow his master/human like dog. So he was distance to his feelings, even when they look like love. Ein is in love and he know, that, yet he doesn t give answer for Diesel, he just give Diesel space to let him find answer by himself. Ein doesn t force Diesel to see their relationship like he does this. I think, that Ein gives Diesel in that way possibility to leave and make his own decisions in case, when Diesel realizes, that what he feels is not love. I also think, that Ein could easy force Diesel to accept his point of view, cause Diesel is still half-wolf and his canis instinct is strong, but he doesn t want to this and let Diesel freedom in this way.

nope, Ein said this to Diesel, whole 20 chapter Ein is narrator. We see Yanek on this panel, cause Ein talking about people betraying and it was show about who he talking. If u look on bubble with statements are this same color and this same typestyle, that to show us, that it s still Ein words.
Poor Diesel...I literally felt disgusted when I seen the many needle marks in his arm and the fact that he was raped made me even more infuriated.
This explains why Ein never puts a leash/collar around Diesel's neck when he's a wolf...he doesn't want him to feel tied up or restrained
