I didn't really read the whole story and just got the summary of it from one of the discussion rooms of the novel . . . but
The novel's ending wasn't really good if I was asked and I don't really want to spoil the whole development but if you're asking the romance aspect of this story , better give up on that too... if I remember correctly she didn't choose anyone (there's a reason for that) and she rejected Nicolas too, even though she....ughhhh...I just really hope the manga's end will be different..
