Because the uke doesn’t want pity from the seme. So what if he tells the seme about his condition, would that change the fact that the seme is cheating and keeps making excuses about his affair. When the seme knows of course he’ll change behaviour towards the uke to lessen the guilt but really even I do not want such ungenuine acts. I dont want people to treat me with fake attitude because they pity and thats what the uke is thinking. If seme shows him that it’ll just add to the ukes depression.
Maybe that's what the author aims...but well, by not telling him and still chose to live together, he is just subjecting himself to more humiliation from the bf. He doesn't wanna be touched cuz he's tired, the bf will keep thinking he is cheating and do more harm..what benefit does being adamant that way bring him other than just more hurt and torture from the oblivious bf? cuz this isn't just emotional hurt but also physical..the fake pity will not deter him from cheating but at least it will deter him from manhandling the already sick person..
The uke, in the border of giving up about his life, cannot do better to value himself which is understandable at this point but if he lets it continue, than he is trampling his own self-value cuz he already knows his bf is a jerk.
If he doesn't want the pity he cud tell him he's sick then cut ties with him completely...keeping this way, even if there's 3rd party involve, say the doctor, he will just be hurt as well by the uke's indecisive character
