As much as it triggers you, there are actually places that do this and act like this. whether you what to stay ignorant of some of the police across the world that are like this it's up to you but there are places like this. I'm pretty sure there are even places like this in America, don't turn a blind eye to it just because you don't see it
the police in my country are many times worse, more corrupt, less trained/competent and lazier.
You would be surprised... how close this is to reality.
I don't like how the 911 emergency service and the police are being portrayed here. It feels like lazy/convenient writing. It's like the author needed a way to keep the police out of the story so they came up with this contrived plot. Portraying the police and 911 as being GROSSLY NEGLIGENT in order to keep them out of your story is bad/unimaginative writing. Pulled me out of the story everytime it happened. Which is unfortunate because I was really enjoying the rest of the story.
