He was probably created on a whim (not really, but) the Author most likely hasn’t gotten a good grasp of what they want his character to be like yet. It’s still a bit early in the series, so nothing is truly set in stone yet. But, yeah, it’d get pretty annoying if he’s constantly changing. At least now, the change wasn’t too drastic, he still refers back to how he was before he witnessed what goes down in the demon world and compares.
