Hmmm I disagree and i don't think it has anything to do with Japan. If i have a lover, and some guy drops by my house with my favorite food and he's not a good friend of mine I would decline. I see what i think is a romantic advance and knowingly welcome it? I'd Hate it if he did it so I won't do it to him
