Yeah. I mean I have learned to differ on when I'm supposed to take it seriously and when not in yaoi. But it's a trope that can be replaced with a very strong argument of the aggravating part can say something a bit too far and it would create the same riff the mangaka wants in their story
I'm going to say that I did like the overall story, though I felt like the rape added nothing. Why does rape always have to be every mangaka's hail mary?
