I never noticed, but you are right, Yanek does seem to get others to do his dirty work for him (that includes Ein and Diesel).
Yup, he added Diesel into the fold. My guess is we'll see what happens for Diesel to turn away from Yanek. Nothing is what it seems.
Ein smells of lies, cooled blood and gunpowder, etc...He is and undercover cop or agent. Let's not forget Yanek comes into where Ein works like a butcher or something, and dumps bodies. He doesn't smell death on him because he gets others to do his dirty work. He said, "I've stolen and sold many odd things in my life. So keeping a creature like you in my house is nothing strange", does that sound like a safe person? Ein has massive burdens he must live with.
