Honestly both. But, mostly how Ein fits into this livey dovey past relationship now...why is Ein even a topic from the start of the story to begin with... *sighs* I'm sure I'll find out those answers enventually but right idk

Ein is Interpol. Looks like he was undercover when he first met Diesel. He must have been investigating Yanek.

yea this exactly .
its really interesting to see the dynamic with diesel and the other guy . it was easy to assume he was abusive , but its hard to hate him when he doesnt necessarily treat deisel wrong . especially with this most recent update it seems he has diesel's safety in mind . im really interested to see how everything falls into place .
