Hanwoo only cares about himself and wants Sangho for his own validation, he is selfish. I really felt my teeth clench when he said, "Well, it was consensual anyway." around chapter 15 when Hyung wanted to do it in public. To clarify, consent is not saying, "Do me or I'll leave you." That was twisted and Hanwoo just uses Sango's body queues to manipulate him and blame him. Those are the type of people that get away with abuse when they know they are hyperintuitive and can sense what their partner really feels. But they will act like it is your fault because you did not "speak up". And he can't even be honest himself. Hanwoo would rather lie about how he really feels and make it seem as though Sangho was the "abnormal" one for not speaking against him. Hanwoo showed some true colors at the bar when he was angry that Sangho was looking better. People who love you don't get angry that you're in a better place.
Some would say, "Oh, he is just a fictional character."
But his mannerisms and entitlement are very real. Hanwoo is a character that really shows that someone can manipulate your feelings without laying a hand on you. People like this are pleasant on the outside, but are bad for you. They don't love you, they are using you. So what if it's "just a story"? I know plenty of people in these kinds of relationships. On the outside we see someone who is nice, but not someone who is good and safe.
I am glad Hanwoo is moving on, even if he can't define it completely. I love to see someone doing better from past jerks. <3
Positive note: I really love that Hakdo has such good chemistry with Sangho. He's a little rough around the edges but he isn't the type to hurt Sangho on purpose and he listens to him even when he seems impatient. Lmao, I'd prefer he get a damn job or something, but I am enjoying how their relationship develops. I can appreciate their affectionate casual relationship. They slowly become more compatible with each chapter. <3
