I totally agree with the overpredictablity of this genre nowadays.. I still find myself reading them anyway, because sometimes predictability can be refreshing after reading a super fucked manga/manhwa/manhua. I almost always forget whatever I was reading once I'm done, as they are all pretty forgettable. But they usually have hella nice art, so it's a give and take lol.
It's not bad but why is every fantasy manga/manhwa/manhua basically a power fantasy. At least the MC in this story has some kind of background, making him less of the projectable "I'm a NEET that got transported into another world" stereotype but dear god, does this genre need a revamp.
All the interactions so far also felt very transparent, with the goal in mind to make the MC seem more amazing, strong, cool, righteous, whatever positve attributes are likable. That doesn't make for interesting characters but other than that its still pretty good, especially considering the genre.
Also, why is everyone shipping an old grandpa in a childs body with an actual child? (But it does feel like a set up that'll bear fruit after some progression or another time skip lol)
