I mean, i know there is pacing but i feel like its being dragged around slowly. The relationship has become a bit stagnant. This is in my opinion of course and you are free to believw whatever you want

This is not a story revolving around romance, though. Hell, it's not even one of its genres. I don't know what you expected. Also, the current "love interest" is a masochistic, murderous psychopath. Lol!
"Plot" is not necessarily developed through relationships/romance. And that's a good thing. :)
It goes without saying this isnt a romance or a shoujo story. I just stated what i believed. Their relationship as a whole is stagnant. She sometimes dominates him he sometimes is surprised but then they go back to how they are and idk. I just stated my opinion
