I'm with you on this it's been about 4-5 years and its still bothers me how the "Ayako" incidents never got solved. Whenever I re-read this I always skip those parts cuz it just angers me.
I think at the end when kiyomine slightly accepted kou and ayako’s relationship showed his slight growth about that matter. And seemed like takara can handle kiyomine just fine.
I can kinda relate to Kiyo so I don't really think he needs to choose between them, it's because Takara also understand that Kiyo's feeling towards him and Ayako are different..... Kiyo mentioned it often too, (I have a sister and I'm really overprotective of her too XD)
Oh no, I didn’t mean it that way. I agree that he shouldn’t have to choose but what I’m saying is that he should differentiate more about his feelings towards ayako and Takara. But yeah, I can see how Takara understands Kiyo’s feelings Towards him
First time I read this and I honestly love the couple but I feel like the thing with ayako never really got solved? Like if something were to happen to ayako again. Kiyomine would probably burst out and say he’ll never forgive Takara. I’m fine with the ayako and kou pair but Kiyomine didn’t even once say he likes Takara (basically they never ended up going out) but all in all I found this manga really sweet!
