I'm reaaaally confused here, in chapter 7 the phrase "if the roots keep growing without fruit, lets make a fruit and come to an end" lost me to death. Does it mean that they will conitnue their relationship even though they have a respective partner, or does that mean they will end their relationship, which means sacrifice their feelings? I think it's the first option, but I'm not sure...

Well, whatever the option is, it really is heartbreaking, damn lord....

(I LOVE THE FIRST COUPLE TOO MUCH, SO SO CUTEY) ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

It’s the latter... The fruit they refer to is most likely a “normal” relationship or a child and the roots is a homosexual relationship. So when it says for the roots to stop growing and end it with a fruit... You get where this is going?

Well if it makes you feel better, it’s just the most possible interpretation of the phrase so maybe in other cases, they are happy ever after?
