I personally think, that Ezekiel´s dad always had a plan about making his son to be the king. We don´t know much about Janette, but it clear for me, that she did not get the education to become a proper ruler for the country. If she became the queen, she will be a simple doll and the real power over the decisions will belong to the "White" family. Ezekiel, as his husband and one of the smartest person is unquestionably the one, who will make the decisions. In the original story Athy was a sacrifice and Janette a toy and now, when Claude likes his younger daughter, Mr. White tries to use the same plan with two princesses. Only question for me is, that Ezekiel know about his fathers plans of navigating between the lines or is he another chess piece?
I wish we could get daily updates, but the original webtoon gets updated every 10 days. So, rn the raws are at chapter 45. And when the translations are caught up with it, we would have to wait for the 10th, 20th or 30th of whatever month for the raws update. So, chapter 46 will be uploaded on feb 10. But idk abt the translations.

Oh I didn’t mean to undermine the translator. Just the fact that they have been translating these is really amazing and I appreciate all they have uploaded. But, we can’t get a lot of chapters in a short amount of time not cuz of hibi2hibi, but the original artist’s upload schedule is every 10 days.

Sorry, but I ship Anthy with Lucas. I can tell that he does actually care about her and does love her. Like when he saw Anthy and the other kid with the white hair together and he was stroking her hair, I think he took her back because he was jealous but he couldn't understand what the feeling was. I think Lucas is actually a good guy and it's the events that happened in his life which made him turn out to be like a "bad boy" not to mention we don't know anything about him, we only know Lucas from the surface level. Plus there's a feeling in my gut telling me to not trust whitey, not because he's a bad person, but I feel like his father might use him so he can use Anthy or he might just be tow faced, kinda like Allenis from the abandoned empress. But we don't know, we barely know either of the characters. But I highly doubt that Lucas is just a "bad boy" , there's got to be more about him. But I'm still shipping Lucas with Anthy, because I feel like they'd work well in a team and as partners especially if they both open up to each other.
