Honestly, I think sex is almost like a power thing to vampires (though to be fair it is the same to humans sometimes)? So they were fuck buddies, not so much for the actual pleasure of it but cos Pain was asserting his dominance. He was the stronger of the two.

It’s been a few months since I revisited this manhwa...but it still bothers me, to this day, that Pain and Brutal were fucking...and that Brutal was the damn bottom. Like...were y’all fuck buddies, what? That’s A LOT of angst and I am all for it.
