hey I don't really want to read this (for obvious reasons) but I *do* want to know what the heck is going on. Can you give me some spoilers please? Does he just have the wrong girl or did she loose her memory of like a year of her life or something?

Actually, the guy suffers from paranoia. I haven't read up to the end of the novel but the girl has never met him and never bore him a child. He will confine her to a luxurious apartment, keep raping her. Finally, i think she will fall in love with him because he's kind of the nicest person that she has met when he's not being crazy.
