How so?

They are both the 'few words' and towards others (with exceptions) 'cold' type of guy. But towards their partners they are pretty cute and affectionate, they can't stand it to watch them getting hurt. They had a hard time making their partners realise that they like them. And the most important, they might carry their partners princess style or steal a kiss now and then, but they never cross the line, until their partners give their ok.
Extra: both of them get drunk really fast.
