at the speed that this author writes this story, the 'bomb' will likely be nothing and the cliff hanger will be some silly nonsense that had us all hyped and will be total let down... that is how it always works, figure it will be at least another year before we get the full reason and probably another misunderstanding to go along with it
yeah I'm not even bothering to read into it actually which I realized I didn't mention in my original comment lol. the length and time it takes for progress makes any foreshadowing impossible.
totally, i read now because of the years i have invested in this manga, i have no illusions or hold out any hope for it to actually go anywhere anytime soon... this author just enjoys kicking us in shins by dribbling out the story line till most of us will be old and grey
too bad the company can't light a fire under Nakamura's ass by forcefully switching her back to bimonthly. she definitely a lot of authority as a senior in the field.
Sadly because of that same authority she can pretty well do at her own pace. Ah well, either we 'pee or get off the pot' as the saying goes. Since most of us have hung in there til now, the long haul seems to be the only way to go...

I don't know what that "cliff hanger" meant at the end of the side story. What is this bomb? is it something about his feelings? idk, can't even really predict where this story will go. It's never been a normal shoujo and combined with the length, foreshadowing has become more difficult to detect.
