Hun, apparently it was because of some strict law against 'glorifying' gay in manhwas ( I think along that line ) hence why the author decided it was for the better to drop the manhwa since the author don't wanna get in trouble for drawing/writing about BL ╥﹏╥

I can understand the reason, but can't the script of what was planned be released? I swear it drives me crazy to see that neither of them had a happy end.

The author should move out of china if the gov have problem with her work

I hope she/ he will be able to continue in the future, it is such a waste to draw Shoujo, when it should be BL.
I mean with Mo Dao Zu Shi should be clear that BL is famous and that China could actually earn a lot of money with BL (selling the rights for a translated version to europe, america etc). I mean most of the stories have a deeper feeling than the japanese ones. They take more time to develope the feelings between the characters (not only the main couple, also friends/ family) and not only focus on R18 things. Circle and Here U Are are the best example for it.

True and it's not only Mo Dao Zu Shi many BL novels and manhuas very famous in China and Chinese ones are mostly the slow burn ones (my fave) and they cultivate the feelings well and that's the reason why they are famous, and Chinese BLs are the best BL, I don't like watching live action, like I don't even watch K dramas but I watch Chinese BL live action cause the concept are so good ┗( T﹏T )┛, but China hate being original and just banned the LGBT+ on media, great （￣へ￣）

Btw. it's kind of funny that I was right with chinese BL becoming more popular in the international BL fandom (looking at how many novels and manhua got official translation over the last years )

It's ironic that a country, with a gov. that doesn't really support BL stories, is now the country that creates the best BL stories (Novels, Manhua, Audio Drama, Drama, Donghua etc.)
