No they were not drugged he is just weak to alcohol
i think so too because the groom had to immobilize his "wife" and get him hot in order for it not to hurt so much and make him feel good. It was all planned.
Is it me or what but I think the wine had drugs in it to make him feel good. If it didn't have it he would have fought.
