I've read in an article a long time ago that said that in the animal kingdom sex is thought to be pleasurable for both parties even though sexual intercourse in some species can be violent and, as we would define it, non consensual.
So in SOME species perspective maya's acting-like-nothing-bad-happened could be right, gaining pleasure from that also kinda normal. Cats are a good example.
