Yanno, what if...
- aoi got in trouble at the sea of trees then sakae offered his life then aoi somehow got hold of this life spirit or something, then planted the said spirit to hanae on that snowy day?
- how about abeno's dad is sakae coz of the hair and eyes? Sakae dyed his hair black but the roots are blonde though. And could aoi actually be hanae's father?
- and what if aoi with the knowldge that death is inevitable because of the illness from the sea of trees, weaved all this because the yokai's need a princess underworld successor and mononokean successor?
Wow, so much possibilities lol please excuse my random ramblings and theories
Well I understand the feelings since there is really so much possibilities to begin with.. and it's just thrilling to solve this mystery.
According to the flashbacks, Ashiya Sakae was a secret employee of the late Mononokean Master Aoi since the executive hates humans.
There are many proofs about that on the old file records and since Yahiko saw Sakae before while what Mononokean said so too. And we could also call the picture Hanae found as an another evidence of that, too.
But Sakae died, and however, begin to resurface within Hanae's body. He is lurking within him, as if possessing Hanae, Sakae saved and killed the demon for them when the two, Abeno and Hanae was in a pinch. ( But it appears to me like, he kinda seals himself in Hanae. ) Resurfacing when his son, Hanae was almost died.
Now connecting the pieces, it seems like Master Aoi and Sakae planned the meeting of the two. But the question is, what for? And why did the previous Master Aoi hired Sakae as a secret employee who meant to exorcised by killing ayakashi, if its against the law? WhAT EXACTLY IS THAT MISSION THAT ENDED UP BEING KILLED?
According to Mononokean, November 2, the day Sakae died, previous MAster Aoi returned back so late from a mission that day, asking what happened.. He was told that, Master Aoi watched his cat dies in front of him. ( Sakae referred as a cat in the file records Abeno-san found )
But, Hanae at 3 years of age, the previous Master Aoi, appeared in front of him, disguising as Sakae on the night of christmas. And disappeared again after that never to do it again. ( QUESTION: WHY FOR? WHY DID THE MASTER AOI DO THAT IF HE WOULDN'T CONTINUE PRETENDING?)
Later on, previous Master Aoi, suddenly adopted Abeno as his employee ( more like a successor ) and eventually died (maybe killed).
And that is suspicious.
WhAT EXACTLY IS THAT MISSION THAT ENDED UP SAKAE BEING KILLED?
WHY DID THE MASTER AOI APPEARED IN FRONT OF HANAE AND HIS FAMILY, DISGUISING HIMSELF AS SAKAE, IF HE WOULDN'T CONTINUE PRETENDING AND WOULD JUST SIMPLY DISAPPEARED AFTER THAT?
WHY DID HE SUDDENLY ADOPTED ABENO AND TRAINED HIM TO BE LIKE A SUCCESSOR?
WAS IT SOMEHOW CONNECTED WHY SAKAE POSSESSING HANAE, LURKING WITHIN HIM AS IF BEING SEALED?
WAS IT CONNECTED TO WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW, AND WHY SAKAE AND AOI DIED?
