i don't see where diesel has betrayed, lied or cheated on him. he doesn't even talks to anybody except yanek and the physical contact between him and ein just starts after yanek's death.

Nobady say that Diesel should stay with Yanek, but Diesel should first end his relationship with Yanek and warns him about police, not cheating and betraying him, when they are together.
What Diesel does, makes him inderectly responsible for Yanek death.
